Sequid launches new RF Multiplexer Series

Ideally for Automotive Applications

Sequid recently started a new differential RF multiplexer series. The devices with a bandwidth from DC up to 10 GHz are designed for both laboratory use and production processes and are ideal suited for measuring cables in the automotive sector. The coaxial multiplexer can easily be combined with any RF measurement devices.

Highest Performance and simple Control

RF measurement technology is used to test the functionality of devices at high frequency bandwidths. In the simplest case, this means checking whether RF signals (e.g. Gigabit Ethernet) are transmitted physically without errors. However, wideband RF measurement technology in combination with an RF multiplexer is also suitable for more complex tests by means of RF signals, such as error detection, impedance control, insertion/return loss (IL/RL) or propagation time measurements.

With the new RF multiplexer series DMXU, Sequid now offers highest performance for such tests to the GHz frequency range. The devices can be used in measurement and test engineering, in production environments as well as in research and development. The DMXU-D4-A switches the differential signals to be coupled at SMA coaxial connectors on the front panel to one of the four differential output ports (DP4T).

Sequid GmbH offers TDR systems for measuring impedance profiles and Sparameters. The RF multiplexer series can also be operated by using the instrumentation software Seunis beeing capable of controlling the DMXU-D4-A as well as for calibrating out (open, short, load, thru) and/or de-embedd the RF multiplexer units influence. The RF multiplexer is controlled and powered via the integrated USB port, so no external power supply is required. It can be easily controlled via the included software tools. A simple graphical tool can be used for manual switching or testing purpose.

Easy to integrate into your Software Environment

With its new RF multiplexer series, Sequid offers high performance at an affordable price and covers a large part of commercial market segments. The devices can also be easily integrated into existing software environments and thus offer a valuable opportunity for e.g. measuring cables in the automotive sector, for functional testing and for checking high-speed data transmission systems.
